Hue-1968

LEST WE FORGET

This Diorama is in 1/35th scale and depicts a group of US Marines and an M41 Walker Bulldog moving down a street in the city of Hue, during the Tet offensive of 1968, during the Vietnam war.
The M41 is By AFV club, and the figures are all DML.
The Dead VC was made from bits and pieces from various DML figures.
The Ruined house was made from plaster, and the rubble from Cat litter, and broken plaster pieces.
The ground itself is also plaster.
It took around a month to complete.
This diorama won first place in Intermediate Dioramas, at the Australian "Model Expo 2004".
